See OKAN Live at the Song Sparrow Hall this Spring! OKAN is a Juno award-winning Afro-Cuban roots and jazz band featuring stunning vocal harmonies and a powerful jazz foundation. The women-led ensemble explores musical forms of Santeria alongside Cuban popular genres.

Taking their name from the word for heart in the Afro-Cuban religion of Santeria, OKAN, is a women-led ensemble that fuses Afro-Cuban roots with jazz, folk and global rhythms in songs about immigration, courage and love.
